Photo day, kept tidy.
TidyPics support
Organize your roster, match photographs to people, and export file-number records from your iPhone or iPad.
Need a hand?
Email info@hickoryandwillow.com. Include your device model, TidyPics version, camera model if relevant, and a short description of what happened.
Please avoid sending photographs or roster information about other people unless needed to resolve your question.
Connecting a Canon camera
TidyPics uses Canon Camera Control API (CCAPI) over your local Wi-Fi network. Your camera must support CCAPI and have it enabled.
- In TidyPics, open Camera and choose Set up Canon CCAPI.
- If Camera Control API is missing from the camera's menus, follow the in-app guide to Canon's activation tool. Activation uses a Mac or Windows computer and a USB data cable.
- Join the camera and your iPhone or iPad to the same private network, then scan for cameras or enter the camera address manually.

Support for selected Sony, Nikon, and Fujifilm cameras uses foreground FTP and is labeled beta in the app. Check the model-specific guidance and test a photo transfer before an event. USB camera tethering is not currently offered.
Using a Check-in companion
Open Photo Station or Check-in from the Sessions menu. On the companion device, choose Check-in, then scan the Photo Station's pairing code or enter the code manually. Approve the request on the Photo Station.
Backups and subscriptions
Use Storage & backup to export a backup to a location you choose. Make a backup before changing devices or deleting the app. iCloud Drive backups are files you create, not live session syncing.
TidyPics includes one free session with up to 20 subjects ever created. TidyPics Pro is an annual subscription that removes those limits. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account's Subscriptions settings. Use Restore Purchases in TidyPics if an existing subscription is not recognized.
